DIY tote bags! I almost cried after finishing these bags in two days because number one, I’m so happy and number two because I am dead tired!!! But I guess number two is the main reason haha. Well mind you, everything is made from scratch! Mano manong pag tahi at pag paint kaya ang sakit sa kamay, mata at batok! But it is all worth it naman hihi :>

So last April 8, I lost my camera. I stupidly (as in stupidity at its highest level!) forgot my camera bag at the back of the driver’s seat. But because prayer is very powerful and God is really great, I got my camera back after a week! Thanks to the couple (passengers) who saw my camera bag and gave it to Mang Lorenzo (taxi driver) who immediately surrender my camera to GMA radio station (Super Radyo DZBB) and to Ate Jamie (schoolmate) for the information. And thank you to my friends for all the prayers. But most of all, thank you to Lord God! He’s truly amazing!

PS: I just arrived from my vacation in Boracay that time, so that explains my tan skin hahaha.

BACK ON TRACK

This is my life for the past few months! I’ve never been more busy in my life, but I can honestly say I’ve also never been happier and more thankful. It’s really funny how that works.

1. Breakfast with my tita 
2. Mah huge fez! loller. 
3. I won 3 awards at the Trinitian Awards for the Arts. Runner up for Photography, Winner in Painting (pen and ink / black & white category) and also in Video. And oh, best dressed of the night too :)))
4. Been eating Bonchon’s chicken soy garlic chops every other day for 2 weeks!!! Super unhealthy, I know.
5. My Student Board slash SCOMEL family. This was taken during the csc election last Feb 14 and yes, they surprised and gave us pink roses. How sweet!
6. Proud of our shirt. I designed it myself. Hihi! Can you find my name?
7. With my lovely friend, Eunice. Had some catching up at Healthy Belly after we watched a fashion show at UST.
8. In a random milk tea shop somewhere in P. Noval, I forgot the name haha! But man, I love their mango slush!

10. Say whuuttt? I am now the President of Mass Communication Organization!!! Still couldn’t believe it though hahaha.

CELEBRATING TWO YEARS OF ART + FASHION

Happy birthday to my blog! Who would have thought I can make it to year two? Time flies really fast! Two years. TWO YEARS!!! I’ve been posting for that long? Do I have a life? Haha. Oh God! I seriously don’t know where I’d be without my blog. 

Blogging has added so much to my life. Improvements have been made. I’ve learned so much about my passions and my potentials. I’ve shared things I would have never thought I would or could. I want to say THANK YOU to every single person who has stuck with me for the last two years. And to those who are just now finding me, THANK YOU! I love you each dearly. You all inspire me to keep going.

Again, thank you for reading and making all of this work worth it! Now, here’s to year 3!

Best way to end the semester! We won “Best Production House” and “Best Television Advertisement” plus “3rd place in Radio Advertisement”. Hooray for us!

Discovered another magical place somewhere in Cubao. And by magical, i mean thrift store! Found this hidden treasures (H&M sheer white polo, Puma oversized denim button down shirt, Emporio Armani vintage blazer) and bought them for only 200 pesos! Ultimate bargain!

THE BRGR PROJECT + NORITER

Yesterday, I went to Taft to meet up with my best friend, Raph who’s renting a dorm room somewhere near her school. I haven’t seen her for a year and a half now and so we planned to spend time catching up on things and at the same time do a volunteer work at DLSU’s Sagip metro 3 relief operation. Sadly, they don’t accept volunteers anymore so what we did is just to drop off our donations (clothes & rice). After that we roam around and wait for the BRGR Project to open. We are the first and only customer that time so we did what any normal person would do :)

The making of Dreilicious and VeggieRaph burger! Yup, you can design and name your own burger! How cool is that?

Oatmeal bun + Tofu patty + Jalapeño peppers + Sauteed mushrooms + Lettuce + Pickles+ BBQ sauce = VeggieRaph burger!

Poppyseed bun + 100% Beef patty + Mozzarella + Bacon + Lettuce + Special BRGR sauce = Dreilicious Burger!

I actually want to try the Angus beef patty and the Canadian bacon but it is not available so I stick with the beef patty and bacon. I know my burger is like the usual burger out there but man, it tastes so darn gooood! Probably the yummiest burger i’ve tasted and I find it very heavy in my stomach (as in super! i’m not even kidding)

Their buffalo wings tastes good too! but since it’s too spicy for me (i’m not really into spicy foods, so I only ate one buffalo wing haha) Raph finished it all :D

And the fries!!! Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside and really flavourful. Just perfect! I now have a new favorite! And for our drinks, Raph ordered a Soda float and I ordered the Good Ol’ Choc’lit milkshake. Yumyum~

Next stop, Noriter! I’ve seen a lot of photos of this place posted in many blogs over a year ago. Since then I got really curious and been dying to see this magical place in real life. Good thing Raph invited me to have some coffee and brought me in Noriter! As soon as I saw the door, my inner artsy fartsy geekiness unleashed and took photos of the place. I seriously fell in love! All the arts on the wall, the cups and that korean thing going on. Uhhh…this place has a great vibe! 

I tried their Iced caramel macchiato while Raph had a Hot peppermint tea. Ahh~mashita!

There were only 4 customers (including us) since there’s no classes. So we kind of own the place that time haha. Lucky!

I love Korea! I wish i could go there someday especially in N Seoul Tower’s Locks of Love and in Lotte World :D lol random.

It says in that wall that “Noriter” means Playground in Korea.
